I have 5 girls. 2 BO, 2 WO, and a partridge cochin. They are almost a month old. Today when I was putting their waterer into their brooder, one of the BO's was stalking my hands and pecking at my nails!(unpolished) Now a couple of weeks ago pecks were no big deal but now they hurt a tad. I then noticed that she was harassing the other girls as they were headed toward the water. Jumping on them to get them to move, etc. Just being a bully. Is it to young for them to be establishing a pecking order.

I think that's a little young to be bullying especially for an Orp. Possibly a male?

I've got 3RIR, 2PR (raised since chicks together, 1yr now) and recently bought 2BO (5mo now, faces turing red and voice is changing on one?)........HOW DO I INTRODUCE THEM? I have been slowly acquainting them in separate runs close to one another and have observed aggressive behavior from my 1yr olds toward the younglings....could younglings possibly be males? How does this process work and what the best way to go about it? Thanks!

Well, its a gamble anyway....my 2 BO play, dance and fight outside like they could be roosters but then again I am inexperianced at this...? Crossing fingers females.
