Pecking wound on head

My four month old Tetra- tint has a large wound right on top of her head where the other chickens have pecked it. It looks like they pecked through the top layer of her skin, and its about the size of a quarter. I separated her from everyone else. She is acting normal, eating and drinking just fine. We cleaned the wound, and I'm wondering, is there anything I can put on it to help it heal and keep it from getting infected?

smear a good coat of Neosporin or antibiotic cream. keep flies away and she will heal just fine.

Ok thanks for your help! Do you know about how long it might take for her to heal enough to put her back with everyone?

2 weeks should be more than enough. usually if you keep them separated for a month you wont be able to tell they were attacked.
