pecking

my chicks keep pecking at each other. are they playing or should i stop them somehow(and if i need to stop it how should i do it?)

Are you sure they are not too crowded?

I noticed that to on my first batch, but eventually it went away. but make sure they have enough space and that there is lots of food and water.

Or put a little ball of cabbage in there to keep them busy. They will peck at that instead of each other.

Are they pecking the eyes? Mine are doing that, like chasing the other one away and pecking its eye.
