Hi everyone. This is my first post but I will resist asking what the correct planting space and depth for eggs ought to be.
We have hardy chickens of which breed I am not sure. There is a high affliction rate generally and Darwinian selection reigns supreme. This morning I found among some newly hatched dead chicks a live one stuck in the shell. The hen was walking on it and pecked at its eye so I removed it and peeled it out of its shell. It has survived for two days but cannot seem to walk. Should I kill it?
