I found this somewhere on this site but it works like magic but I cannot take the credit for it.
1. Bring water to rolling boil ( no salt, no vinegar, just water.)
2. ladle eggs in to boiling water
3. boil for allowed amount of time. I usually do 22-25 minutes.
4. ladle out of boiling water into ice water. (I fill my kitchen sink full of ice water and ladle eggs into it)
5. let cool, then peel at leisure and will peal like a dream.
I just did 5 1/2 dozen for Christmas and only ripped 2 out of 5 1/2 dozen.
