Lol - its already pitch black out here - think I will go see if she's bottom out - she is a very sweet hen - tries the whole pterodactly thing but gives up and coos when i pet her - i've been sneaking her in some boss and such when the other hens are off on a jaunt - i am excited too and really cant hardly wait!

on a side note went to the feed store today and i swear they are stalking my chicken addiction i just hatched these guys the othere day and the feed store just got 200 RIR's that same day

This is her 1st time, she is still a pullet. hatched may 22, 2010. started laying October 30. went broody Dec 2, hatched 1st chick today

Candled last night and 6 of the eggs are definately growing chicks! I have one blue one that was hard to tell either way - will check in a couple more days. Congrats on the little ball of fluff!
