I am in the process of working out an 'adoption' of one or two Swedish Blues who are a week old to keep Peepers company!
My friend who has been guiding me in my care of Peepers came over and took at look at her last night and gave me a big thumbs up for a job well done.
So, I was happy about that. But, I agree with all of you that she really needs to be able to interact with others. And, as it turns out, another woman who, currently, has 13 ducks in total, is trying to find good homes for her 8 ducklings. As it stands right now, I'm going to pick two of them up tomorrow afternoon. I'm so happy!! Peepers will have company!!
BTW, as little as she is, I don't like to leave her during the day when I'm at work. So, she comes with me every day and stays in a box with all her toys and food and clean water. Today, she decided her little legs were getting stronger and she was intent on trying to jump out of the box to get to me.
LOL! Needless to say, I had to find a taller box. HAHAHA! Anyhoo... once I get the new babies, I'll be toting 3 of them to work every day.
