I suppose it does. I was just wondering cause sometimes if collies don't have a job they'll obsess over something and I was just thinking maybe he is obsessing over people.

That's true, when he was young I think kids teased him (passing by). But it also carries over to animals, he hates all animals that aren't ours and even some of ours. He gets along with the dogs, cats for the most part and rabbit.

Oh. Interesting. On one of my sisters ES boards she's on someone has their ES guard their chickens and then they got new chickens and didn't think to make sure the dog knew they were supposed to be there so the ES killed all the new birds and left the old ones alone, they now make sure to introduce all new animals.

Right, we've had that problem. Once they get used to whatever is new, they usually get along fine. He's such a sweet dog with me and everybody he cares about, but if you are an outsider he goes nuts. If he's around you for a while he'll calm down, but still view you as a threat in certain circumstances. I think it probably has a lot to do with getting teased when he was young.
