Bear Grylls. That's great. :gig

I hope you find another roo soon...if you get chicks tomorrow, will you try to get a cockerel?

YES YES YES WE WILL WE WILL WE WILL!!!!!!! Preferably er ORP, to carry-on Arrow's legacy, but if not then probably an easter egger to carry on Fowler's legacy of being gorgeous

I just realized somthing. Mom got straight run wyandottes and Speckled Sussex, because they're good dual purpose breeds but it just hit me that surely after we put the 100 rangers in the freezer mom is not likely going to want to stuff the extra Wyandotte and Speckled Sussex roosters in the freezer (I mean there's already a hog in there) which would imply that she got them specifically for breeding.

For me the most important thing is if they take good care of the hens and aren't stupid. We had an EE boy named Fowler once. If you caught him he would sit and take a nap in your lap! Totally not scared of people or "aggressive" whatsoever. BUT if he wanted to breed a hen, he was going to breed that hen or die trying - or kill the hen on accident :/ if we had kept him he probably would have killed a hen at some point, stupid bird....

Then we had. RIR named Bear Grylls (yesit is what you think XD). He would attack people, but only because me and sis had fun sparring with him :/ he would attack 5gal buckets too :lau THAT was funny to watch. But anyway, Bear was like the middle ground - nice to people (at least not super nasty) and typically nice to the hens too. Problem was he was an overzealous breeder too, so we sent him to freezer camp to keep Fowler boy company :P

And finally we come to Arrow, who was simply perfect. He was the epitamy of a gentleman with the girls, and once he figured out where he stood with people,he decided not to be aggressive. He actually did attack a little kid once, but she was just old enough to see that our chickens are friendly, so she tried to pet him and freaked him out. So we would lock him up when little kids came over, and it was fine. He was the only too we has that would protect his girls. One time he went after a border collie that was chasing Peep, while Bear sat in the bush and cried! Then he totally kicked the neighbor's terrier's butt, and got all bloody doing so, but when he almost charged ASPEN, my giant stupid pyr, I was like "dude you rock" and so he stayed u til the Marek's outbreak, when we sent him to heaven to take care of all my chickens. Banana Smoothie misses him A LOT.

But yeah, there's my two cents on the matter :P

These are probably highlights
