Yeah, it's chaos in the barn when one of the peacocks starts making that scream... first it starts resounding up to the house and the coops, then the roosters start crowing, then the geese start honking, then my parrot'll probably scream at some point, and of course the hens'll cackle their fat heads off... oh, and the dog'll go beserk...

That's awesome!!!!!! I've got 11 keets in the Bator (okey they still have 9 nine days to go but there are 11 goodies so far)

They're so cute! Mine are around a month and a half old. I hope I got a pair but not sure.

Oh, here's the story. We were at a breeder's place (where we got the guineas) and this guy had tons of peacocks. One had a broken leg, he gets around pretty good but the breeder said we could have him. He didn't really have the space. So, we get a peacock! Broken leg or not, he's super pretty.

Cool. How do you treat a broken leg with poultry? Or does it mend on its own

She had both a broken wing and a broken leg. We took her home, wrapped her wing in a sling of ACE bandages and splinted her leg with popsicle sticks. I thought she would die multiple times...
