I did however get a broody pekin duck, a pekin for crying out loud, they're not supposed to go broody!

It was fun. I always have broody hens, you can borrow some whenever you want. You just have to give them back.

Huh. I thought games were supposd to be broody! Myneighbor's game hen - well, one of their many game hens - was the meanest broody I've ever seen ever.

No, it had just barely started to grow. You could barely tell it was a chick. Looked like a bunch of veins that centered around one spot, but it was a chick.
