If you are hearing peeps, that means the chicks have pipped internally. There is no way to tell how long it will take for the chicks to externally pip. Some can pip and hatch in 5 minutes and others can take many hours. Most late hatches are because the temp has been a little low and the humidity a little high. I have calibrated my thermometers and hygrometers. If I'm unsure about the thermometer and hygrometer I put will another in and compare the readings. that What has your incubating and lockdown temp and humidity been? I get a much better hatch if I keep my incubation temp around 100 and my humidity around 35% and at lockdown I up the humidity to around 75%. The chicks pop right out and I haven't had any shrink wrapping issues when I take the chicks and their shells out of the hatcher as they hatch. This is just what works for me.
