How large are you planning on making your run/pen? I have several pens. The total area I have covered is 200'x60'. I bought the first netting I got, which was 200'x50', off eBay. I put in a max bid and to my surprise I got the netting. It is good and heavy duty. It has been up for around 10 years and still good. I had a 10' gap because my pens are 60' deep so I needed netting to fill in the gap. I bought two 150'x14' pieces to fill in the gap of the crappy netting when I bought it I thought it was different than it was but used it anyway. It had worked until recently when the owl discovered it could plow right through it. This last piece of netting I got on Amazon. I bought it because it said each 2"x2" square was rated for 85 pounds.Oh lord, that’s a haunting image with the owl in there.. Terribly sorry to hear about your losses.Thank you so much for sharing, I’ll definitely make sure to get heavy duty netting. Do you recall what brand or specifications your good netting is?
Does that new stuff keep out the gators? How large are you planning on making your run/pen? I have several pens. The total area I have covered is 200'x60'.
