Peeping

Once a chick peeps how long should it take for them to hatch!! Cuz I've never actualy been there when one hatches!! They are just there when I go to check!!

Usually once the chick peeps, it'll be another 24 hours before it tries to make a pip.

Once it makes the pip, it could be anywhere between 10 minutes - 48 hours before

it zips out.

Well didn't know how to spell it haha but I ment it has a hole In the shell!! So when will it hatch?

It could zip out anytime between 10 minutes-48 hours.

The small hole in the shell is called a pip

Then it starts to 'zip' . It basically looks like they're unzipping a zipper all the way around the shell, haha.

Thanks!! Will yall just pray this is a white one!!! Haha these quail come in brown tan and white colors!! And the other two are brown and tan!! So hopefully I will get one of each!!

Yes they are!! They are so tiny!! And I have them in a brooder with my silkie chicks!! (separated of corse) but they still must be so scared being in there with those giant chickens!! Haha I will post a pic of it tomorrow!! It is kinda funny!!
