I was on Facebook an I saw a like-thing that was something like this:

Edward Cullen isn't a vampire. He lives in the woods and sparkles. He's obviously a fairy.

You know, I did actually read the Wiki...I love vampires, and I wanted to give it a chance. But...it sucks...and honestly, as a parent, this is
NOT the kind of relationship I want my daughter idolizing. Plus the fan"girls" my age and above drooling over the kid who *just* turned 18? That was a little off.

And seriously?

Sorry, but she Meyer is the WORST author I have read a piece from, possibly ever.... and I read a lot. How many times does the line "Edwards perfect face" get repeated throughout the first book alone?!

The Twilight series is unfortunate at best. The plot is empty and worthless, honestly. Everything is over-dramatic to a point that makes me gag, and Bella is nothing but an empty cardboard box that any girl could put herself in - sad, really, that she didn't make a unique and individual female lead.

I love vampires, and it's sad that the series has brought them to this. For example, Underworld is a great series even though some things are a bit over-done. It shows vampires the way they were meant to be!

I agree. Vampires DO NOT SPARKLE! Fairies do! Therefore, Edward is actually a fairy.
