How did you do that? Color them? I wanted to do that but ended up with black chicks. So no coloring for me.

My sister keeps a couple REALLY OLD Peeps on her desk at work. They are all hard. A few years ago, they had ants in the building...They were everywhere but they wouldn't go near those Peeps. Of course that just makes me wonder what's really in those things anyway??!!??

They inject a few drops of food coloring into the shell about 3 days before they hatch. If you wanted to do it yourself, just use KoolAid, no sugar, and rinse them in it. Of course, you have to use light colored chicks. Just pour it on them like you would give them a bath. NO DUNKING! let is stay on for a few moinutes and rinse the excess off.
And no, *I* did not eat the peeps I used for the phot shoot....my dog enjoyed them, tho!
