After reading his Journal, I can't wait to meet Peeps!

I dont mind at all it thinking i am Mommy. When i was little my parents always had animals. Now i have children of my own and we have and have saved quite a few. My heart goes out to the helpless. Right now my Dad has Turkeys, ducks, geese and my mom raises parakeets, quails, pigeons and doves and she has a pitt bull lol. Those animals are like their babies. My Dad talks to them after work every day.. They live in Louisiana and we recently moved to Texas. I gobble back at his turkeys when we go visit lol. I had a baby turkey as a pet one time. His ducks and geese are so tame they eat from your hand and of courae my lil ones like to catch and hold them. He lets them outside the pen and if they go too far he fusses at them lol and they listen to him and come running back!!!

Someone help! I checked on Peep this morning and what I see now is totally different than what I saw last night. There are really dark veins and the best way I can describe it is it looks like lightening struck in there. Its not blood red but they are dark lines as well as the red blood vessels I have seen. I couldn't see my baby moving either! There is no bright red blood ring anywhere and no smell to the egg. I'm I freaking out over nothing? Is this normal? Today is Day 10 of incubation. Oh I hope my baby is ok!!!

I hope and pray he is ok. I don't know anything about candling eggs I'll try and look up something to see if I can help you.

Thank you. I have been looking up stuff all morning about the 10 day incubation cycle, candling them, embryo growth, early death symptoms, size carts, you name it and I can't find anything that describes what I see. My heart is in my throat!

I put the egg in the warmer the night of the 3rd and I think it was the 8th when I first saw the ring of development so that's when I started charting. Maybe its a little further along which would put us at day 14 instead of day 10. I don't know. I have no idea what I'm doing or what to expect.
