peeps to clucks

At what age do their peeps turn to clucks?? Just curious!

Pullet to hens and cockerals to roosters at one year.

do you mean the sound they make? Probally close to before point of lay. I have a buff orp that peeps like a baby when she gets overly excited. Usually when we take out treats to them. It definatly (sp) gets our attention! Its too cute!

I notice a voice change about 12-14 weeks old in my pullets.

I have heard clucking from my 5-week-olds, but it's still mostly peeps.
