Peepshow!!! Baby chicks web cam!

The chicks are in an unused room in my house. It's an infrared security cam that I have hooked up to a wireless transmitter that beams the image into my office. It's actually in color, but because of the infrared heat, it just washes out into black and white. I'm still working on setting things up better, but I'm hoping to keep it online until they're outside.

Cover the pine shavings with paper towels for a few days. It will stop them from eating them and make them learn what and where there food is. I had a problem with this too and lost one chick from eating shavings.

P.S. I love your chick cam!!! Very addictive!

Gindee77, I've had it covered with paper towels until just this evening. They're 5 days old now. Do you think I should keep the shaving covered a bit longer? Granted, they don't seem like the smartest of critters.

Not sure what you're talking about. Their food and water bowls are at the lower right edge. I'm not sure what camera angle will allow the best viewing.
