Hi guys - I need a bit of help. I have 3 chickens - two Pekin Bantams and 1 silkie. They are all hens. I bought 2 of them some weeks ago and the other old one won’t stop attacking the silkie. They have all moved into a new house to stop any territorial issuses - I have heard you should leave them to it unless they are drawing blood. Is this correct? Will they just work it out? She seems to be calming down a little this afternoon....
Any replies are REALLY appreciated!
Thanks

The social order of chickens is generally not gentle. A rule of thumb is 'do not intervene unless blood is being drawn'. Provide multiple feed and water stations to assure that the picked upon hen is getting enough to eat.

Ok that’s good. Thank you so much !
