Hi everyone. I hatched some pekin bantams from some mixed colour hatching eggs.
Does anyone know what colour this beautiful little creature is please? I was thinking possibly silver partridge but I'm struggling to find pictures online.

It has partridge in it for sure. But being from a mixed color flock you won't be able to know what color/pattern it will end up being for sure until it feathers in fully. Mixes can change a lot from chick down to first feathers. And from first feathers to after first molt.

Thank you Gray Farms. I'm clueless about genetics :hmm So unless the parents are the same breed and colour then you don't know for sure what colour the chicks will be until they feather out? Chick down isn't a sure way of knowing?
Apologies for my ignorance.

Does the seller say which colours are the mixed colours? Did they specify that they all run together and not in separate pens?

It looks like it will turn out silver penciled which is the same as silver partridge but it could have leakage in its coloring

Thank you for your reply =)
Yes she said it's a mixed colour pen including silver partridge, silver laced, gold laced, black, black mottled, millefleur and columbian.
