Pekin bantam has weird horney thing on beak

I. Recently noticed a small pale bump on the end of speckle, my pekin bantams, comb it is odd and I am wondering if anyone has an idea on what it is

Is it hard like a toenail or soft like skin? Does it look like it grew there, or could she have gotten a thorn or something stuck in her face? I haven't seen that before, but others may have suggestions. Sometimes I have seen pictures of warty growths, either caused by viruses or from injuries from feeders.
