I was told these were 7 weeks old (one month ago) so would now be 11 weeks assuming that's accurate. They are approx 300g each.

I'm hoping for 2 pullets. Gender ideas/advice?
They have entirely different personalities and characteristics.
Thanks

White bantam - Mable
Black and white bantam - Mauv

Mable is definitely a pullet but I'm not sure about Mauv. When we hatched Pekin bantams the cockerels were crowing by 6 weeks old, and they had as much, if not more wattle and comb growth at 6 weeks than Mauv does at 11 weeks. I do remember the girls starting to sprout their wattles and combs from 10 weeks old and our Mottled (which I think is what Mauv will be) I was convinced was a cockerel because her comb always looked pinker than the others.

Do let us know what Mauv turns out to be.

At first glance it appears the white is a pullet and the mottled is a cockerel.

However, the mottled is very pale for what I'd expect a cockerel to be at that age.

Please update us in a few weeks. They are both very nice looking birds.
Thank you so much. Will do. There's every possibility that their age is wrong (and I wouldn't know!)
