Rained all weekend, now I'm coming down with something. Sitting deep in my throat right now, hollow, unproductive cough. Sound hoarse. Otherwise fine.

I hope it goes away quickly and that's the worst of it.

The end of the egg drought should be in sight! It's only 2 weeks to the solstice.

I have a pullet that started laying last week, 5 eggs so far. The other 7 pullets haven't started. The 30 hens have been freeloaders since October.

I sure hope so. I still have too many old birds on site. and too many goats, period.

I was getting about 3 per day, then the pullets started laying. The MaransX is my most reliable layer at the moment.

Honestly, if I went thru withdrawal right now, my wife would (very reasonably) divorce me. Coffee is life.
