Pekin Bantams ???

I have read that Pekins are the exact same thing as standard Cochins, just bred to be smaller. THEN, I read where Pekins and Cochins are not really the same. So, Which is it???

Hi From what I've learned is that the Pekin is a true bantam which has no large fowl. Originally thought that they were mini cochins, but that was never proven although some still think it applies. There are quite a few breeders in Australia that can help with info.
