Hi All!
Welcome to the Pekin Contest!
In this contest you will get to show off your beloved pekins. There is a maximum of 3 photos per bird and you can enter as many birds as you want. There is no prize except for the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful breed.
Frizzled Pekins are allowed,
but apart from that all birds have to follow the basic breed standard: single comb, feathered feet ect ect.
There will be 3 different categories each divided into three parts.
The categories are:
Cutest Hen, Cutest Chick, Cutest Rooster.
Most interestingly colored Hen, Most interestingly colored chick and most interestingly colored rooster.
( This category includes all colors the more unique the better. They don't have to reconised by the standard and they can even be colors that you invented)
Most quirky chick, most quirky hen and most quirky rooster.
( This category includes Pekins that you have captured in a quirky way. They could be oddly posed or in a strange place.)
