Pekin chicken

Hi guys.
we recently brought a pekin chicken that’s approximately 2 weeks old. I heard you can sex these chickens quite early, but wasn’t sure when would be too soon? Would it be possible to determine the sex of this baby?

It’s a little early to sex them. Update in 4 weeks. Pekin cockerels should be showing bright red combs by then.

6 weeks is generally a good age for Pekins. Update in 4 weeks

Agreed about updated pics in about 4 weeks. You can usually spot a Pekin cockerel around 5-6 weeks. They color up really early and the pullets color up really late. Sure is a cutie!
