Pekin Drake in N. AL

I have a 1 yr old pekin drake looking for a home. He is a pet and I would like him to go to a home where he'll not get eaten. If you have some ducks, pond and looking for a big handsome boy let me know.

Where do you live. And i have a question, do you know if he can fly, someone told me the pekins are flightless beacuse they are breed to be meat ducks.

I live between Huntsville AL and Fayetteville Tn. Nope he can't fly. I have them in my side yard.

Is he free or for sale? Does he get along with your chickens?

He's free to anyone on here that's a good home for him He's never been around my adult chickens but my chicks are in the same yard. They are in they're own little pen and he doesn't seem bothered by them. He lays next to them alot. Both chicks got loose earlier today and he didn't care.
