Yep could see on leg turns inward some I don't think it's anything to worry about, just keep up with the BY to make sure. Sure are some pretty ducklings. Not sure if it worked and not the greatest...They really just wanted to lounge

OK Thanx for info...I just got new chicks yesterday...Chicken math strikes again...lol. So they'll be on starter grower for lil bit longer. Can my laying hens and laying ducks get the nutritional support they need from all flock too. I always gave em all layer feed in past to keep it simple since my chickens have to inspect and eat ducks food to make sure they're not getting something better...lolStarter should stop being served at around 3-4 weeks but if you have lots left over mix it with the next feed which can be a flock raiser because then you never have to change feed again. When I have babies all my flock gets starter till it's all used up it cannot hurt them at all.
Yes they can just put out Oyster shell for your layers. I need to make myself a note I need feed and Oyster shell. lolOK Thanx for info...I just got new chicks yesterday...Chicken math strikes again...lol. Male Mallards have a dark, iridescent-green head and bright yellow bill. The gray body is sandwiched between a brown breast and black rear. Females and juveniles are mottled brown with orange-and-brown bills. Both sexes have a white-bordered, blue “speculum” patch in the wing. [off google]Thanx. Got another question for y'all. I have a Mallard or Rouen not sure which yet. And it's too young to tell gender, but in sun today I noticed green sheen to top of head...Do females have that. Posting pic but hard to see true color in pic. But it's the spot on top head that looks a bit different in pic...Can only tell in sunlight... Otherwise just looks wet or flattened feathers.![]()

I don't think you have a Rouen only 1 eye stripe on your duckling. How old?
Well not sure I was just looking at Rouen ducks when I googled and looks like they lose the one stripe after a while.Male Mallards have a dark, iridescent-green head and bright yellow bill. Makes it more fun to keep guessing till you know for sure. Precious no matter what. He's just starting to get the feathers where blue patch will be you can see where they are but haven't opened up to the blue yet. It is the size of the runners I got at same time. I heard Rouen are big about size of Pekin but he isn't that big compared to my Pekin baby, but bigger than what I hear about Mallards so he's a wait and see guy.
