Thank you for the information. If it does turn out to be a pekin is there any markings to tell if its male or female when it gets older?

No markings color-wise or anything, but a drake will get curled up tail feathers. However, you will usually be able to tell by the quack long before you see the drake feathers.

How much does the average Pekin drake weigh?
My Pekin drake probably weighs around 12-13 pounds?
Is that considered large for a Pekin drake?
