Pekin Duck Club!

I understand. Before you go for supplies, I'd read the fecal testing thread. You might want to also pick up what's mentioned there for worming her. I don't know what has caused her to stop eating, but it's possible it's worms and better to be prepared. Sorry, I've been reading too many threads...did you say if a vet is an option? Also, is it possible she's egg bound? I have to log off for now. I'll tag some more members that might have ideas.

I'm getting more and more worried, to add to this, I'm pregnant and I'm scared of catching something, is that stupid?

Wear laytex gloves when cleaning up after them and wash wash wash your hands. I don't think your at risk but better to be safe.

I think you said she hasn't laid yet right? Will she eat any treats like peas or chopped romaine? and you haven't seen any mating yet?

I do wear gloves, always. But I've tried and she won't eat anything, but drinks non stop. I've tried opening her mouth to see but she won't let me, really fights me about it. Another thing I noticed is she won't lay down, only stands, even when she goes in her "bed", I've been calling vets all morning, the only one that will see ducks is over an hour away, I don't have my license so I don't wanna drive that far with the baby( no babysitter today) so I'm praying my husband finishes work in time to take her!

Just a bit of a random stop - try giving her a quarter teaspoon of coconut oil or a tablespoon of coconut milk in a cup of water. Something may be burning her throat, that may soothe it safely.

I recorded a movie to show her in " action" but I can't download it to my tablet!!!! Ahhhh!!!! She actually got in the pool which is a first. Earlier she tried stepping up into the pool and fell. It was horrible. I must want my sassy little girl back. And JoJo still don't leave her side. Its cute but sad
