The eggs got fried. Not sure they were even fertile after all. The temperature spike happened the first few days, so they wouldn't have been formed enough to identify a baby.
I'm thinking I will order ducklings soon. I almost adopted two blue Swedish ducks as well as a Muscovy last week. That didn't happen due to transportation issues.

that sux. i want their babies some day, i know first hand they do lay fertile eggs but not all the time. they dont mate constantly which was good so he dont over mate her

this is Derpy, one of my great pekins. He loves learning tricks, he's like a dog. For some reason he follows me around instead of staying with my flock of 17 other ducks. He given to me along with 3 others he grew up with but he likes me best. He is (oddly) afraid of water and refuses to swim in the 60 acre pond we own

yes we have, there are no snapping turtles we took the ones we found and put them in a swamp where they are happy. if there is any our giant goose Steven will chase them away.

I love and love some more this Derpy. He is extremely cute. The puffy cheeks, side eye look and of course, his orange webs and how they are situated under his very round and soft body. He needs a big kiss. Silly non swimmer burd.

I have for Swedish females and one pkin male. I just ordered a dozen duck 8eggs that will arrive on Wednesday and I'm setting my incubator as we speak. This'll be my first try to hatch duck. I'm very excited. Wish me luck!
