Well sometime soon Lily and Jojo will go to a new owner in the middle of the state. I met her on Pennsylvania Unite. @Miss Lydia she asked if she had any questions if she could say they were my ducks as a reference, I told her I go to you for every question I have, I hope that's OK. I'm sad, but I think this is the right place for them. And she said I could reunite if I wanted. My babies! Sad but happy!

Natasha, I am sorry you have to part with Lily and JoJo. I admire you for selflessly rehoming them. Not that you had a choice but still, you're to be commended nonetheless. Please, please continue to post if you want to. We care about you and hope things with the new place go well.

I've considered ducks for a while, but these are my first. I like the look of Pekins, and I'm glad that I was chosen!
They will be in a 6x6 pen with an 8 x 10 run to start. There are chickens in a pen next to them, so the extra presence should help them settle in. I'm capable of doing just about anything to make sure that they are happy.

Thanks. I will still be around. I truly believe motorcyclechick is the right duck mama for them. My only worry is getting them to her, i hope we can figure out transportation. Im sure she will keep me posted on how they are doing. And i believe she will provide a great home and family for them. I know you girls will welcome her into the duck world as you did to me! I am at peace knowing it will be ok

I will be keeping up the best I can in this thread. It's slow moving enough that I should be okay. And I am sure there will be lots of pictures.
 
Am I the only one that likes Donald and Daisy and Huey Dewey and Louie? I am very likely to name the ducklings (hey, JoJo and Lily need company!) these names.

Absolutely. And I am glad we've met her. I am glad she is taking them and is all set.
 
Quackers was the first name chosen by my daughter and my son named the other one something else....after a few days we decided that it needed to be cheese. It makes me smile everytime I call their names.
