Lol, thx, I know they will be happy. That's one thing I'm happy about right now. At least that side of my life is going good. Everything works out. I feel bad for him bc he burnt his last bridge now he has no one to help him. But he has to learn.

Sometimes it takes falling in a deep hole to finally see the light and seek help duckies you and dh did what you could now it's up to him.
You both should get a medal for trying to help.

I am so happy you have such peace about JoJo and Lily's new home it does sound like you have found the perfect place for them..

Jojo is super mad at me! I explained to him and Lily what's going on and that they are leaving Thursday. Every time I leave me and ry ry always say bye and they quack back. Well not anymore, haven't for 3 days now. I tried explaining that they will be so happy. I sound absolutely crazy but I'm dead serious and I'm getting sadder by the day yet I'm OK bc I know they are going to be loved n cared for. She will be the perfect duck mama!!!!
On a bad note, we bailed the step son out of jail Thursday, he spent the night and then robbed us!!!! My dh beat the **** outta him and disowned him. Why didn't I listen to everyone? So yeah, things are great...lol.

Don't beat yourself up over the step son. The situation you've all been in has been a hard one. And so wonderful that JoJo and Charlie are gonna have a great life and thrive in their new home. You're a generous and kind young woman and you have so much to look forward to.

they only come out so I can clean the brooder. That is the warmest room in the house. So far 3 chickens and 4 ducks. I have 4 more duck eggs still in the incubator but I dont think they are going to hatch, they are day 29 so I am going to give them a few more days. Our first duck was 4 days before lockdown, 2 ducks were 3 days before lockdown and one was 2 days before lockdown.
