I am one ticked duck momma! They found a way to get under the fence, and kept escaping the past two days! Duckling loved it. She got to go ut and round them up! I would search the fence line, and she would go toddling after them, and bring them back. That kid is amazing! I don't think she knew HOW to round them up, but it seems that she saw what she was doing was working.
Now they were never in any danger. It was daytime, and they weren't going anywhere. Plus I obviously check them a million times a day. Today I think I got it figured out. Unfortunately, I kinda sorta maybe a little may have left the chicken run door open when I was letting a frightened bird out before opening pop doors. I got ticked because the little bird finally flew out the fence just as I got the door open for it. I was so busy telling it off for abusing my kindness that the door was forgotten.
So the chickens and ducks roamed together while I got a bunch of outdoor work done.
