Hi All,

I have 2 female and 1 male 7 week old Pekin ducks. Unfortunately the time has come for the girls as they have started to get rowdy upsetting the rest of the flock and probably the neighbors by now.

I plan to keep the male "Rhino" to breed with my Welsh Harlequin and Cayuga. I'm just a just a little concerned about his suitability as he is short and fat compared to the girls. He's a good 20 mm shorter and 40 mm wider, is this normal for a Pekin?

He seems to struggle to jump the 150 mm into the garden beds with the other ducks is he going to be able to get the job done?
