Preview attachment IMG_20160420_132037433.jpgI think "Daisy" might actually be "Donald." Does this look like s/he is developing drake feathers to you? I've had Daisy/Donald for about a month. I bought her/him from TSC as a tiny duckling, just about 4 weeks ago as a tiny duckling, so I'm not exactly sure how old s/he is.
What do you guys think? Duck or Drake, or still too early to tell? These pictures were taken about 5 minutes ago.
Edited to add: "Daisy" is very talkative - s/he pretty much talks constantly. S/he even answers when I talk to her, and we carry on back and forth conversations sometimes. It's really cute. I've read that most male ducks don't make a lot of noise. But, Daisy/Donald also doesn't "quack." She/He sounds more like a goose than a duck. We have a Rouen duck about the same age (purchased same place/time) we know that duck is a female because of feather color and patterns. That duck (her name is Daffy) is very quiet. She almost never talks.
So.. what do ya'll think? Is my Pekin a Daisy or a Donald?
Thanks!

Are you asking about the "cream colored pekin"? If so, no I purchased her from Ideal hatchery in Cameron, TX. I tried to get pictures of her now but you really can't see the cream color. In the pictures she just looks white.Did you get her from TSC?
Look at your ducks eyes. If they are brown, they are buffs. If they are black, they are pekins
