    Hi,

I found a yellow duck in my garage, Pekin duck.
Don't know where it came from.
We searched everywhere and no white ducks around.
I have read a couple of posts about bill colours and stuff about rear end poops I would imagine.
My little duck is probably 2 weeks old now and her bill is pale pink.
It does little poos and sometimes black round things and sometimes white and soft.
It likes to sleep after eating and eats every 2hrs or so.
I buy meal worms as I tried other stuff and doesn't like it.
    Loves the meal worms.
What's the posts I have seen about "fixing the rear end problem?"
I don't know if I keep the duck or take to RSPCA
I have to go on holidays and don't know if I bring with me.

Some people travel with a duck or two. It is quite a responsibility, but it has been done. I believe Marwan has two ducks that are close friends of his. You could check out his posts.

There are stickies about duck care that you may find helpful.

Not sure about the rear end problem. Sometimes ducklings get pasty butt, but good hygiene and proper diet and fresh water should keep that away, I think.

Sounds like you have a pekin. It may be younger than you think, they grow very very quickly.

They need food and water 24/7 the first several weeks of life. No food without water. They are healthier if they can wash their heads frequently. But ducklings need to be closely supervised when they are swimming or bathing.

Please keep us posted, and if you can upload photos that would be nice.
