Runner were my first choice duck breed as I really want a penguin and can't have one They also have a really good feed to egg conversion. You might have to get him some runner friends

I thought I picked up 4 pekin from my farm supply store; I ended up with three buff, and 1 runner. The runner is a favorite, and our daughters keep saying she’s “a strong independent woman” that will never have a mate or children.
