Pekin duck with no nares

We have a pekin duckling that has a small under bite and no nares. She breathes through her mouth. She is eating well and thriving. I am guessing that there is nothing to be done but had never seen this before and wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything special that we needed to do.

Oh, the poor dear...the biggest worry would be aspirating her food or water. Do you have a picture of the little girl?

As you can see the holes are there but never opened. Like it did not fully develop.

Yes, something went wrong when she was developing. I would give her vitamins in her water once a week for a couple of months in case there was a vitamin deficiency.

I agree, something happened while she was developing.
As long as she acts normal I would leave her be
