I have about a year old Pekin drake who has developed a watery discharge from his eyes, one which is closed unless we open it. It seems to be "stuck" closed. The other eye is starting to close. He has been lethargic as well. Not sure what to do for him other than separate him, which we've done and use warm water to rinse away the discharge. He ate a little last night but I'm concerned I'm going to lose him. Thanks for any help/advice!

Is he drinking good? if so put some Apple Cider vinegar into his water 2 tab to 1 gallon of water hopefully he'll wash his face in it and also drink some which ACV is good for both. he could have an infection which would mean a round of antibiotic, Dura 10 from feed store may help You can also use warm salt water to wash out his eyes with. Does he seem to have any problems breathing? and how long has this been going on? or get Terramycin eye salve from feed store.
