I hope he does better. Have you tried maybe dissolving the pills in water and using a syringe to shoot it into his mouth? Or maybe crushing it and mixing it into a treat and making sure he gets all of it. I know when my cat got sick I had to get creative. He'll be better in no time, I'm sure. Did you try the wheelchair? If so, did it work?he is about the same. It’s been difficult getting pills in his mouth to swallow. He looks so depressed & sad I hate it so much. He was my affect more relaxed now he’s now I guess tired of someone always cramming pills in him & medicine so he’s not as calm & loving which I understand. I think the wraps are what’sreally bothering him at this point. I pray for a speedy recovery over the weekend.
I know he is pretty depressed right now but the more he stays off his feet and takes his medicine, the sooner he will be able to happily run and swim!
Have you been givin specific healing instructions for his feet? If the doc didn't say not to, I'd suggest filling a bathtub with some warm water and epsom salt or some other healing agent so that he has some more fun and his feet are healing. But DONT do this if the vet said not to. Id say if they didn't say so, call and make sure first. I'd hate to tell you to do something that would do more harm than good, I'm just trying to find ways to make you both happier in the healing process
