Thank you guys! Should I start this tomorrow ? since this morning I had put niacin in their water, but I found out it was time release so I emptied it and gave them fresh water. They had the niacin water for only a couple of hours before I emptied it so I’m not sure how much they got.

How do you guys get the vitamin b complex out of the bottle ? It only has a place for a needle which I do not have

I peel that foil off it’s easy actually then used a dropper to get it out.

The duckling is also not cleaning himself like he should be after they swim and is always falling asleep , is that also a symptom of niacin deficiency ?

How old? Can you post pics? Mine are two weeks and are just beginning to preen but it’s not constant after bath. They are just learning.

They are about 3-4 weeks I have had them for about 2 weeks , he was cleaning himself before but I’m not sure if it’s because he knows he can’t keep his balance so he just doesn’t even try & yes I will post a picture . They are starting to get there white feathers and I’m worried he’s not cleaning the casings off of them .

If he’s unsteady that maybe why he’s not preening. Hopefully once you get 3-5 days of liquid b complex in him he’ll be stronger on his legs. And feel more comfortable preening. Are you giving it to him over something ?

Yes I gave him 1ml this morning over thawed peas and added 1ml to their water also
