I have a new pekin baby just hatched a day ago and won't walk.
It moves like it is trying to swim. Is there anything I can do to help it walk?

Please post your question on the "duck thread." They will be able to answer you much better than I. I don't know much about ducks except that niacin deficiencies are common in chicks and causes problems with walking etc. They can be given brewer's yeast to compensate. But the duck folks would know how much, how often etc. Just put "duck thread," in the search box above and it will come up for you.

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some good starting points, I will just wish you and your duckling all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
