Pekin Ducks going lame why is this happening.

That's the liver on a goose that went lame aswell.

This looks like it had some type of disease. Where do you live?

Are they walking on gravel? I missed that.

I am just not sure if Wheat and barley is going to give your birds all the nutrients they need. To have that many water fowl with bumble if that is causing the problem is a first here.

I do have a big flock 700plus ducks 200 geese. But still that's to many for bumblefoot?

I add a supp for ducks and geese which I mix with wheat and barley.

Sounds like here we live in mountainous terrain lots of rocks big and small no way to get rid of them. Haven’t had a lot of bumble in my flock. Didn’t you say you raise around 700 a year? Is this your first time with this issue?

May I suggest that you email that liver picture to a poultry pathologist and ask them what they think?

Theirs a few each year no more than 10. First time I've seen this.

It's a masterfeeds supp Call D&G 250 my ration is 150 kg supp 600kg barley 230kg wheat 20kg conola oil. Makes 1 ton of feed. That's a finisher ration.

I really think I'd try for a complete feed too. Are you raising for meat? Even meat birds need a complete feed. Maybe you have a mill close by that will sell you feed in bulk?

Would you mind telling us what is in the supplement you give your birds?
