? Pekin Ducks

Oops, posted that before I saw the last two replies... Another possibility is a spot of Mallard in the mix. The one that I am very confident is a Drake has a distinct change of colour on his neck right where the Mallard Drake changes from that stunning teal green to a white bit. Funny thing is the lady told me she had Pekin's and either Mallards or Muscovies. I can't remember which, but she said if they interbred, the offspring would be sterile. I've looked them both up and none of her ducks look like either breed.

@Magnolia Ducks, which two do you believe to be Drakes? I believe the darkest is a Duck. (quacks like a champion) I suspect the lighter two are Drakes, and I can't make up my mind about the other one. The "Drake" with the darker head makes hoarse noises when I pick it up. The other two ??'s are silent when I hold them. When they are together it is hard to tell who is making what noise. They should take up Ventriloquism.

The plot thickens... Today I visited the lady I got the ducks from. Found out she got them from Michelle's Happy Hens and Ducks. Looking at Michelle's FB page, I can see she breeds Pekins, Runners and Muscovies. I took some pics of Kate's ducks (lady I got mine from). Bedtime here, but I will endeavour to upload some tomorrow. I need to do more homework to see what the "breed standard" is for Indian Runners, but I suspect there may be something else in the mix. Will look at your suggestions Magnolia. Her Pekin's are snow white as I expected. On Michelle's FB page, she had some Crested Runners, and some of her Runners had teal on the wings. So pretty! @Magnolia Ducks, yes it is the two lighter bodied ones with darker heads that are the Drakes. Lovely hoarse vocals. The duck (with the darkest body) is loud. Really loud. No mistaking the Quack on her. Self-appointed flock spokesperson. lol The duck that is a mid-brown colour quacked nicely today. I am only keeping one Drake (the one with the darkest head appeals to me). Thank you very much for the advice, I really appreciate it. For the record, I don't mind at all what breed they are. They are just gorgeous. It is just curiosity/interest on my part to have an idea of their bloodlines.
