The blood was actually coming from under her qings on top of her back. What you see on the feathers is just saturated on her wing tips. I checked her all over and none of the wing feathers are bleeding. We kept the pair in last night and she looks much better today. Im starting to wonder if one of my 1 year old Mallards was pecking at her in the barn the night before. Thanks for the articles, All good info. Im hoping it clears up soon so I can put them back in the barn.
