I learned a lesson today, never leave your 3 year old son with his grandmother around baby ducks.
Apparently "Gandma, I get ducky, pwease?" Is irressistable, and don't you know if you get one for one, you have to get another for the other child?
So now I am the "mommy" to two 3 day old pekins, their huge! I have all my layer ducks coming in Tuesday and my runners coming the following tuesday, but I have never really researched Pekins because I am primarily into the layer ducks, not the meat ducks. Any special things I need to know or any certain way I should integrate the layers and the runners in with the pekins? Did I mention that their huge? I am shocked by how much bigger they are than what I am used to. Oh well, my kids are thrilled with "Pizza" and "Ducky" lol
