My full grown pekin female is limping. Upper part of leg looks swollen. How much of this vitamin do I give daily? Has 25 mg of niacin in each tablet. And is it okay to crush up and put in food even though other ducks will be eating it as well?

It should be fine in a small amount. I can't remember the quantity of this so you may search it up.

If her leg is swollen, this suggests to me an infection or injury is more likely the main cause. A niacin deficiency could also be playing a role, so I would certainly still give her niacin. Pictures of the leg and a video of her limping would be the most helpful. You can also put her in a deep bath to let her float and take weight off the leg. Make sure she can float. Deep water will also let her work her leg under less strain and help restrengthen it. But this and rest, will help the most for healing. Pekins can take a bit longer to heal because of the extra weight.
