Pekin/Mallard mixes?

Wondering about this mix. One of my mallard ducks raised a brood and they all look very mallard like. They were her eggs. I have a mallard drake and a pekin drake. I can't imagine the odds that they all came from the mallard drake. They are 8 weeks old and most are already the size of the adult mallards or bigger.

They all grew up to look like mallards and just a tiny bit bigger than the parents. Most were drakes, only two girls out of eight.

I tryed to send some pictures of my mallard/pekin ducklings earlier but don't think it went well. The reason is 2 of mine are black and white 4 are white so far. They are only 2 weeks old. I was wondering why mallard/pekin mix would be black and white not more like mallard and white coloring? Any clue?
